HLA Hub is led by veterans of the transplant immunology software industry with deep roots in laboratory operations, software engineering, and health IT.

Scot Townshend
Founder & CEO
HLA Hub · Reston, VA
Scot brings over 35 years of software development experience and deep expertise in transplant immunology informatics. He previously founded SystemLink, an HLA laboratory management platform that grew to serve over 100 laboratories worldwide before being acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he subsequently served as Senior Director of Software Engineering. He holds a BS in Information Systems from Radford University and serves as a Board Member and Adjunct Professor at Radford University's College of Science and Technology.
